Twin Spring is a less than popular attraction at Ginnie, and to be honest I’ve never swam in it. The pool is rectangular in shape and around 25 feet wide. The water flows out from a limestone fissure in the center. Some kids who wee swimming here had told us it was about 10 feet deep. The water flows about 200 feet into the Sante Fe River.
Unless you are camping on the extreme Northwesterly end of the Ginnie Springs complex or were looking for this spring specifically, it’s very likely you’d never even know about it.
