Ginnie Springs Group (Multiple springs at one location)

Description:

Ginnie Springs is a privately owned complex along the Sante Fe River that has several springs within the park. There are 7 springs on the park’s property, and another two on the opposite side of the Sante Fe River. Ginnie Springs is the most popular freshwater scuba diving site in the world, seeing more than 30,000 divers annually. The underwater cave systems here have been mapped at over 33,000 feet. Jacques Cousteau has described Ginnie as having the clearest water anywhere in the world. If you could only visit one spring in Florida, this should be at the top of your list!

Being a privately owned park, alcohol is allowed here, making this a very popular destination for the locals. On weekends, the park is packed and attracts a party crowd. Despite this, the staff at Ginnie Springs does a wonderful job of keeping the park clean. Rarely do you see litter in the water.

Ginnie offers many “wilderness” campsites for tents that usually have a grill, picnic table, and a fire pit. They also have sites with water & electric hookups. Tubing down the Sante Fe River is popular here, bring your own or rent one from the front desk.

Springs within the Ginnie Springs park are listed below. Click on one for more detailed info:
